प्रणब और शिबनाथ ने कपल इवेंट का गोल्ड अपने नाम किया

भारत के प्रणब बर्धन और शिबनाथ सरकार ने यहां जारी 18वें एशियाई खेलों के 14वें दिन शनिवार को पुरुषों की ब्रिज (ताश) कपल इवेंट का गोल्ड मेडल अपने नाम किया है।

60 साल के प्रणब और 56 साल के शिबनाथ सरकार की जोड़ी 384 अंक हासिल करते हुए गोल्ड मेडल पर कब्जा जमाया।

भारत का यह इन खेलों में 15वां गोल्ड है. इसी के साथ भारत ने 1951 में दिल्ली में खेले गए पहले एशियाई खेलों में जीते गए 15 गोल्ड मेडल की बराबरी कर ली है।

भारत के ही सुमित मुखर्जी और देबाब्रत मजूमदार 333 अंक लेकर नौवें स्थान पर रहे। सुभाष गुप्ता सपन देसाई की भारतीय टीम 306 अंकों के साथ 12वें स्थान पर रहीं।
