देहरादून। राज्यपाल बेबी रानी मौर्य सोमवार को केदारपुरम स्थित नारी निकेतन पहुंची। राज्यपाल श्रीमती मौर्य ने नारी निकेतन का औचक निरीक्षण किया। जन्माष्टमी के पावन पर्व पर उन्होंने नारी निकेतन की संवासिनियों को फल एवं मिष्ठान भेंट किया। नारी निकेतन की कई संवासिनियों का स्वास्थ्य खराब होने की खबर का संज्ञान लेते हुए राज्यपाल ने मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी डाॅ0 एस.के.गुप्ता और एस.डी.एम सदर प्रत्यूष सिंह को भी तलब किया।
राज्यपाल ने नारी निकेतन की व्यवस्थाओं को और सुधारने की हिदायत देते हुए डी.एम और सी.एम.ओ को प्रतिमाह रिपोर्ट देने को कहा है। राज्यपाल ने सी.एम.ओ को नारी निकेतन की किचन और खाद्य सामाग्री की गुणवत्ता की जांच करने के निर्देश भी दिए। उन्होंने स्वयं वहां बनाये जा रहे भोजन को चख कर भी देखा।
सी.एम.ओ ने बताया कि वर्तमान में 04 संवासिनियां दून अस्पताल में भर्ती हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रत्येक शुक्रवार महिला डाॅक्टर की टीम नारी निकेतन की संवासिनियों की जांच करती है। राज्यपाल ने निरीक्षण के दौरान वहां चल रहे कुछ निर्माण कार्यों में पुरूष सुपरवाइजर की उपस्थिति पर सख्त नाराजगी व्यक्त की। उन्होंने नारी निकेतन की अधीक्षिका को इस संबंध में निर्देश दिए कि इस प्रकार की परिस्थिति में महिला सुपरवाइजर की उपस्थिति सुनिश्चित की जाए।
