देहरादून। उत्तराखण्ड ने प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम सड़क योजना के अन्तर्गत वर्ष 2017-18 में सड़क निर्माण में देश में प्रथम स्थान एवं बसावटों को संयोजित किये जाने पर देश में द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त किया है। इसके लिए मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत ने संबंधित विभाग के अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों को बधाई दी है।
मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र ने कहा कि हमें टीम उत्तराखण्ड की भावना से इसी तरह कार्य करते हुए उत्तराखण्ड को देश के सर्वश्रेष्ठ राज्य के तौर पर स्थापित करना है। इसमें सरकार, शासन, प्रशासन, विभिन्न संस्थाओं व राज्य के सभी नागरिकों को मिलकर कार्य करना होगा। उन्होंने राज्य के अन्य विभागों से भी इसी कार्य कुशलता के साथ कार्य करने की अपेक्षा की है।
गौरतलब है कि 11 सितम्बर, 2018 को विज्ञान भवन, नई दिल्ली में ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम सड़क योजना के अन्तर्गत उत्तराखण्ड राज्य को वर्ष 2017-18 में 1500 कि.मी. लम्बाई के लक्ष्यों के सापेक्ष राज्य में 1839 कि.मी. सड़कों का निर्माण किये जाने पर देश में प्रथम एवं 172 बसावटों के संयोजन के लक्ष्य के सापेक्ष 207 बसावटों को संयोजित किये जाने पर देश में द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त करने पर केन्द्रीय ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री, नरेन्द्र सिंह तोमर, राज्य मंत्री ग्रामीण विकास, राम कृपाल यादव एवं सचिव ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय भारत सरकार, अमरजीत सिन्हा द्वारा प्रशस्ति पत्र एवं पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया। प्रशस्ति पत्र एवं पुरस्कार उत्तराखण्ड राज्य की ओर से मुख्य अभियन्ता, उत्तराखण्ड ग्रामीण सड़क विकास अभिकरण (यू.आर.आर.डी.ए.) द्वारा विज्ञान भवन में आयोजित समरोह में प्राप्त किया गया।
