उत्तराखंड के अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक ने एसएसपी एसटीएफ एवं एसटीएफ/साईबर पुलिस स्टेशन के अधिकारयों के साथ एक बैठक कर एसटीएफ/साईबर क्राइम पुलिस स्टेशन की कार्यक्षमता बढ़ाने हेतु गहन विचार-विमर्श किया। इस दौरान उन्होने कहा कि जनपद देहरादून स्थित साईबर क्राईम पुलिस स्टेशन में खोये हुये मोबाइल फोनों की बरामदी हेतु माह नवम्बर 2017 में “मोबाईल रिकवरी सैल”स्थापित किया गया था। इस मोबाईल रिकवरी सैल द्वारा अबतक लगभग 80 लाख रुपये के कुल 662 मोबाईल फोन बरामद किये गये है जो कि एक अच्छी उपलब्धी है।
इस बैठक में निम्नलिखित बिन्दुओं पर निर्देशित किया गया :
1- अशोक कुमार ने कहा कि साईबर क्राइम की विवेचनाओं को शीघ्र निस्तारित करने हेतु निर्देशित किया गया है।
2- साईबर क्राइम के मामलों में जैसे ATM एवं Bank Frauds, Social Media पर महिलाओं को परेशान करने आदि में तत्काल एफआरआई दर्ज कर अपराधियों की गिरफ्तारी कर कड़ी वैधानिक कार्यवाही की जाये जिससे पीड़ित को न्याय मिल सके।
3- ऑनलाइन सी0एल0जी व्हाटसएप ग्रुप को और अधिक एक्टीवेट किया जाये ।
4- राज्य में अपराधियों के सक्रिय गैंग जिनके कुछ सदस्य जेल में है तथा कुछ सक्रिय सदस्य जमानत पर बाहर है, उनके विरूद्ध वैधानिक कार्यवाही करते हुए गैंगस्टर एक्ट के अन्तर्गत सक्रिय गैंग के सदस्यों की सम्पत्ति जब्त कराने की कार्यवाही की जाये।
5- एसटीएफ तथा जनपदीय एस0ओ0जी0 के मध्य समन्वय बढ़ाने की उद्देश्य से उनके मध्य मासिक बैठक की जाये जिससे उनके कार्य की गुणवत्ता में वृद्धि होने के साथ-साथ अपराधों का शीघ्र अनावरण किया जा सके।
6- प्रदेश के पाँच हचार से अधिक धनराशि वाले 62 ईनामी बदमाशों की गिरफ्तारी हेतु एस0टी0एफ को निर्देशित किया गया।
7- साईबर क्राइम एवं उनसे बचाव के उपायों के सम्बन्ध में स्कूल व कालेजो के माध्यम से जन जागरुकता अभियान चलाये जाये। साथ ही सोशल मीडिया,एफएम रेडियो, सिनेमा हाल आदि में भी प्रचार-प्रसार किया जाये।
