अल्मोड़ा। सोबन सिंह जीना परिसर में शुक्रवार को छात्रसंघ चुनाव की आम सभा का आयोजन हुआ। आम सभा से पूर्व नगर में बिना अनुमति के छात्रों ने जुलूस निकाला वहीं छात्र ट्रेफिक व्यवस्था का उलंघन करते नजर आये। छात्रों के जुलूस से माल रोड में जाम स्थिति बनी रही। नगर में फैली इस अव्यवस्था से नाराज होकर एसएसपी ने नगर कोतवाल चन्द्र मोहन को जिम्मेदार मानते हुए लाइन हाजिर करने के आदेश दिये। वहीं माल रोड़ में फैली अव्यवस्था को पटरी में लाने के लिए एसएसपी पी रेणुका देवी खुद माल रोड़ में पुलिस दल के साथ पहुंच गई। वहीं एसएसपी ने कोतवाली प्रभारी का चार्ज एसएसआइ नीरज भाकुनी को सौंपने के निर्देश दिये है।
छात्र संघ चुनाव से एक दिन पहले छात्रों ने माल रोड़ में जुलूस निकाला और कानून व्यवस्था की जमकर धज्जियां उड़ाई। माल रोड़ में लगाई गई पुलिस फोर्स छात्रों को कानून व्यवस्था का उलंघन करने से नहीं रोक पाई। छात्र बिना रोकटोक बाईकों में बिना हैलमेट और ट्रिपलिंग करते नजर आये। एसएसपी कार्यालय के ठीक नीचे माल रोड़ पर छात्रों द्वारा बिना अनुमति के निकाले गये जुलूस से लम्बा जाम लग गया जिससे लोगों को परेशानी का समाना करना पड़ा। पुलिस इस जाम को घटों तक नहीं खुलवा पाई। कानून व्यवस्था की धज्जिया उड़ता देख एसएसपी पी. रेणुका देवी स्वयं सड़क पर उतरी और उन्होंने डंडा लेकर माल रोड़ में घंटों से लगे जाम को खुलवाया। वहीं उन्होंने कानून व्यवस्था को न संभाल पाने और लापरवाही करने के लिए कोतवाल चन्द्रमोहन को लाइन हाजिर करने के निर्देश जारी कर दिये। वहीं सभी अधिकारियों को छात्रसंघ चुनावों में पूरी सतर्कता से काम करने और लापरवाही को गंभीरता से लेने की चेतावनी दी है। वहीं कोतवाली में तैनात एसएसआई नीरज भाकुनी को कोतवाली प्रभारी का चार्ज देने के निर्देश दिये है।
